Angels
The CDO Angels were formed as a mini parent/teacher association. We provide financial support for our program, in addition to creating a dedicated fund to enable our talented teachers to attend educational conferences. Proceeds from Angel sponsored events provide our school with additional learning tools and new equipment to enrich our students preschool experience.
Over the past years, the CDO Angels have been responsible for providing our program with new supplies, equipment, toys and major classroom purchases. After years of planning and fundraising, the Angels are most pleased that they were able to help pay for a new playscape for the back playground.
The CDO Angels sponsor two major events each year:
Date with Dads
Dads are a vital part of Children’s Day Out success. Date with Dads (DwD) is held each year around Halloween. DwD is an evening filled with pumpkin decorating, face painting and playing with old friends and new. An invitation with the date, time and other details will be sent closer to the event.
Last Blast
Last Blast is the end of the year celebration of another successful year. This party features fun and games for all ages. Activities include: moonwalk, slide, face painting, cupcake walk, silly string, snow cones, petting zoo, games and more.
Each year the proceeds from Last Blast pay for many of the extras at CDO.
Membership
Membership in the CDO Angels is open to all Tarrytown CDO parents. Annual enrollment is only $20 per family and all membership dues are dedicated directly to student enrichment.
