Changes at home

Sometimes things which happen at home can cause changes in a child’s behavior at school.  It is helpful if the teacher knows that something out of the ordinary is going on so that she may understand the reasons for the child’s unusual behavior.  Therefore, if Grandma comes to visit for a while or someone in the family is in the hospital or something of this nature, please let your child’s teacher know about it.  This will help her make your child’s time at school be the best it can be.  Sometimes the medicines that are given for a child’s allergies may affect his/her activity level.  When you either start this type of medicine or stop it after it has been given for a period of time, it would be helpful for the teacher to know this information.
